Public Comment Period Opens For OHV Grant Proposals

South Lake Tahoe, CA…The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit is accepting public comment for the Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) Cooperative Funds grant applications submitted to the State of California Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation (OHMVR) Division. The comment period begins today, March 8, 2016, and ends Monday, April 4, 2016.

The OHMVR grants would provide OHV education and information, law enforcement patrols, resource and use monitoring, planning for winter travel management, and protection for both natural and cultural resources in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
