Volunteers Needed for the Pet Network Evacuation Team!

Incline Village, NV…Pet Network has partnered with other local animal rescue agencies to build a support team during times of crisis. We live in an area that can be plagued by severe weather and fire so we are pulling together a team of volunteers for the Pet Network Evacuation Team (P.N.E.T.).

This team will consist of volunteers and supporters who live within 15-20 minutes of Pet Network Humane Society’s facility and who are able to help transport animals out of the facility in case of an impending emergency such as fire, flood etc. We will contact volunteers by text message and email in the event of an emergency and request that they drive immediately to Pet Network to pick up a cat or dog to be transported to safety. Our goal is to transport every animal and person to safety in a timely manner.

Sign up for P.N.E.T. today!

If you would like to be a member of this incredible team, please email your name and contact information (including cell # and email) to
evacteam@petnetwork.org:

If you are a part-time Incline Village resident, please indicate the time of year that you are living in Incline Village and would be able to help.

Fosters Needed

We are also looking for additional fostering and housing options outside of the Tahoe Basin (such as Truckee, Reno, Carson, Minden etc.). If you are able to house a dog or a cat temporarily in the event of an emergency evacuation, please respond to the email above and include your address and the number and type of animal you can accommodate.

We are so grateful to live in such an openhearted and supportive community. Your assistance in keeping our animals safe is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
