Tahoe Vista, CA…On, July 8th at 3:48pm CHP personnel responded to a solo vehicle traffic collision involving a vehicle and a parked trailer. Upon arrival to the scene, it was determined that a 2001 Volkswagen was traveling eastbound on SR-28 approaching Estates Dr. when the driver fell asleep and drifted off the road. The driver allowed the Volkswagen to leave the roadway colliding with a parked trailer which hazardous material cleanup.

The driver sustained minor injuries as a result of this collision and was not transported by emergency personnel. Alcohol or drugs were not suspected as a factor in this collision.
