Minden, Nevada – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting a death investigation with

skeletal remains in the area of Kings Canyon east of Spooner Lake.

The remains are being transported to the Washoe County Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy.

At this time a cause of death is unknown.

The investigation continues.
