South Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev. – Discounted tickets to the 25th American Century Championship, the all-star sports and celebrity golf tournament at Tahoe South, July 15-20, are now on sale at Raley’s, Nob Hill and Bel Air locations throughout Northern California and Nevada.
Celebrating 25 years as the No. 1 celebrity sports event in the USA, the American Century Championship will go tee to green at Tahoe South with a sports and celebrity star-studded lineup including LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Miami Heat All-Star Ray Allen, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, comedian Larry the Cable Guy, Olympic skier and gold medalist Bode Miller and NFL Hall of Famers Steve Young and Jerry Rice. Daily tickets will also be sold at the gate. Tickets are $15 for the Lake Tahoe Celebrity-Amateur on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, July 15-17; and $25 for each tournament round, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 18-20. A Patron Badge Season Pass, good for admission all six days, will be on sale for $60. Children 10 and under are free when accompanied with a paid adult.
Tickets are discounted when purchased from Raley’s, Bel Air or Nob Hill Foods. Tickets are $12 for access Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and $18 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday tournament action.
More than 80 of the biggest sports legends and entertainment celebrities will usher in the American Century Championship’s silver anniversary, teeing it up at the famed Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in pursuit of the $125,000 winner’s share of the $600,000 purse.
The tournament is also offering complimentary tickets for all military. All active duty, reservists, National Guard and veterans can receive two complimentary tickets, including one for a guest each day of the tournament. All service men and women who would like to attend must apply at

In honor of American Century Investments Founder James Stowers Jr., an investment management innovator and philanthropist who recently passed away at the age of 90, the official national beneficiary of the 2014 tournament is the Stowers Institute for Medical Research (http://www.stowers.org/). Each year, more than 40 percent of American Century Investments’ profits are distributed to the Institute. Total dividend payments since 2000 now exceed $1 billion.
