San Francisco, Ca…San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is welcoming United Airlines’ new non-stop service to Chengdu, China by hosting an “SFO to Chengdu” contest on Facebook. United Airlines begins flights from SFO three times per week on June 9, 2014. The contest invites contestants to like SFO on Facebook and answer three questions about United’s new service. Entries will go into a random drawing, with daily prizes of a United Airlines model aircraft and one grand prize of an iPad mini.
“We’re excited to host this contest to welcome United Airlines’ new service from SFO to Chengdu,” said Charles Schuler, Associate Deputy Airport Director of Communications & Marketing. “This contest celebrates the first non-stop service from the United States to Chengdu in southwestern China.”
The contest is easy to enter. Visit, and like, the SFO Facebook page, then answer three questions about the new United Airlines service to Chengdu. Entries are welcome from June 2 – June 14, 2014. Nine runner-up prizes will be awarded daily from June 3 – June 13, 2014. One grand prize will be awarded on June 17, 2014.
