South Lake Tahoe, CA…On Thursday, April 3rd 2014 around 7:00pm, 44-year-old South Lake Tahoe resident Jeffrey Miller reported his 47-year-old wife, Camilyn Kay Price-Miller, had been missing for several days. Investigation revealed that the adult daughter of Camilyn Kay Price-Miller, who lives in Kitsap County Washington, had already reported her mother missing to her local Sheriff’s Department on March 31st, 2014. Additional information has arisen during the preliminary investigation which has generated concern for the location and well-being of Camilyn Kay Price-Miller.
Due to the active and rapidly unfolding nature of this case, the police are withholding specific information regarding these circumstances from public release at this time. We are actively searching for Camilyn Kay Price-Miller. SLTPD is being assisted in this effort by several local agencies, including personnel from the offices of the El Dorado County Sheriff and District Attorney, the El Dorado County Search and Rescue unit, the SLEDNET task force and the US Forest Service. The police are also requesting the assistance of our public to call 911 if they have information as to the whereabouts of Camilyn Kay Miller-Price or her vehicle. Photos and descriptions of both are included with this news release. The photograph of the vehicle here is similar to the victim’s vehicle. It is not a photograph of her actual vehicle. The actual missing vehicle displays a California license plate of 5ADM509. It also has two stickers affixed to the rear bumper. One reads “Keep Tahoe Blue” and the other “Keep Tahoe Kind”. Affixed to the rear window is a sticker which displays the letters “LT”.
