South Lake Tahoe Seeks Community Input on Airport Master Plan

South Lake Tahoe, CA….What’s the future of the Lake Tahoe Airport?  South Lake Tahoe residents, businesses and interested citizens are invited to hear about the possibilities and weigh-in at an Airport Master Plan meeting Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lake Tahoe Airport.

 

C&S Companies, with more than 30 years of experience preparing airport master plans, is developing, reviewing and creating a new airport master plan to address the airport’s needs and promote value to community prosperity while also incorporating sustainable practices into its long-term development.

 

The meeting will include a presentation of the master plan process and a description of how the public can provide valuable input on the airport’s future use. Following the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to visit various stations focused on specific aspects of the master plan and personally connect with City staff and the planning team.

 

The first public meeting for the Lake Tahoe Airport Master Plan has been scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2014. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at the Lake Tahoe Airport, located at 1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe.
