Placer County Sheriff’s detectives arrested three Loomis residents over the weekend and found property on the men taken from several Loomis residential and vehicle burglaries. Detectives are also looking for the owners of more stolen property.
Jacob Ronald Delaney, 20, Philip Hodge, 23, and Kevin Johnson, 56, were arrested on various charges and booked at the Placer County Jail. They are responsible for entering unlocked cars, garages and homes. Delaney was charged with burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and needles; Hodge was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of burglary tools and a parole violation; and Johnson was charged with theft of a firearm. Hodge is being held without bail; Delaney’s bail is set at $60,000; and Johnson’s bail is set at $80,000.
Detective Ryan West is seeking the owners of power tools and a camera that may have been taken from garages and vehicles. Anyone who believes they have had those items stolen in the past two weeks is asked to contact West at (530) 652-2423.
Unlocked garages and vehicles are easy targets for criminals, and people are urged to keep their belongings secure.
