Dec. 16, 2013 (Stateline, Nev.) — Technology and soul will fuse into a one-night-only sound strata of electronic music and instrumental-acoustic pop when STS9 (Sound Tribe Sector 9) headlines at Lake Tahoe’s MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa on Jan. 26, 2014.

Described as an eclectic stew of electronic rock, jazz, funk, drum n’ bass, hip-hop, and ambient, STS9 integrates rhythm-section instruments with samplers, drum machines and soft synths into a multimedia light and soundstage show that has won them fame and legions of followers worldwide.

Tickets for the 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, are $27.50 in advance and $30 at the door and available through Ticketfly.com or the MontBleu Box Office, 888-829-7630.

Consistently ranked among Pollstar magazine’s list of top-grossing touring acts with a heavy presence in the music festival circuit, STS9 has opened for Snoop Dogg, Ghostland Observatory, Bassnectar, Thievery Corporation, Pretty Lights, NAS and Big Boi of Outkast and have toured with Jay Z. The group has released 11 albums, two remixed albums and two live DVDs on their own label 1320 Records’.

They’ve headlined at major events such as the Ultra Music Festival, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Lollapalooza and Electric Daisy Carnival. When they’re not on tour, they’re using their voice as a platform for change and raising money toward activism efforts, especially in New Orleans.
