Incline Village, NV…Weather conditions permitting, the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District is planning on conducting a prescribed burn in the 1st Creek drainage above Knotty Pine Drive and Dale Drive and west of Bronco Court and Matchless Court on Thursday, October 17th or Friday, October 18th. The project is approximately 15 acres on IVGID property.

Smoke resulting from the understory burn will affect the surrounding areas for approximately 24 hours. People that are smoke sensitive are advised to please stay inside and close their windows
