Topaz Ranch, NV…At 12:30 am, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the East Fork Fire and Paramedics responded to a report of a gunshot victim in the area of 3661 Slate Road in the Topaz Ranch Estates.

Deputies arrived on scene and found 20 year old Bradley Endsley JR from Las Vegas, NV, inside his great-grandfathers residence holding a knife. As deputies began issuing commands, the victim 82 year old Robert Setsodi pulled into the driveway bleeding from a stab wound stating he was attacked by his grandson. Setsodi had escaped from the residence prior to the deputies’ arrival.

Medics tended to Setsodi who eventually was Careflighted to Renown Medical and is currently in surgery.

Deputies forced entry into the residence and placed Endsley into custody for attempted murder. The reason for the attack is still being investigated. No one else was injured during this incident.
