Feb. 6-7th: Reno-Tahoe Senior Games  Mt. Rose is hosting the ski events as part of the 2012-13 Reno-Tahoe Senior Games open to people 50 years and better.   Feb. 6-7th individuals 50+ can enjoy a Slalom Race and a Giant Slalom in the Slide Bowl.  Register through http://reno.gov/seniorgames ; participants must have a lift ticket or season pass to gain lift access.

Relive this decade of decadence by throwing your post-millennium fashion sense out the door and dressing in your finest ’80s (or anything retro) attire. Anyone decked out in themed attire can compete in the “Fashion…or Fad” contest at noon at Winters Creek Lodge.
