Northstar, CA…Crews will be on scene for another hour or so cleaning up after a jack-knifed big rig blocked the lanes. The have moved the closure point to Northstar Drive and all vehicles north of that have been turned around. The Caltrans sanding truck was stuck in the traffic and a big rig tow and a disposal truck are still about a 90min eta from Reno. Looks like it’s the long way around down SR 89 and around the Lake if you need to get to Kings Beach or Incline Village in a hurry.

Update as of 8:58pm…Kingvale Caltrans is working on getting at least one lane soon.
