Stateline, NV…The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 19 year old female, Alyssa Byrne, who was attending the Snow Globe event in South Lake Tahoe, Ca on New Years Eve.

Alyssa Byrne, from Petaluma, Ca, is 5 foot 3 inches tall and 125 pounds. She has black hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a black sweatshirt, black yoga type pants, black snow boots and her hair was pulled back.

Friends that she was staying with last saw her in the Horizon Casino at a bar between 12:30 and 1:00 am on 01-01-13.

The circumstances to her disappearance are unknown at this time. Douglas County Search and Rescue has been activated to assist in an area search.

Investigation into this incident is continuing, and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in developing any suspects or leads.

A reward of up to $1000.00 is available for information leading to the location of Alyssa Byrne.
