South Lake Tahoe, CA….On June 27, 2012 at about 8:55pm South Lake Tahoe Police responded to the area of 1100 Bonanza Ave on a report of gunshots being fired from vehicles. Police arrived in the area and were unable to locate any suspects or victims. Witnesses stated two vehicles were seen in the area and they suspected the gunshots came from one or both of the vehicles (No specific vehicle description is available at this time). Witnesses also heard what sounded like males yelling prior to the shots being fired. Police located evidence indicating there were several individuals involved in some type of verbal altercation and that several gun shots were fired. At the time of this release no one has reported to the police as being injured from this event. Police are currently following up on leads in this case.
