(South Lake Tahoe, CA/NV)…The 2012 Business Expo, brought to you by TahoeChamber and Getaway Reno-Tahoe, is this Friday! The most productive business event of the year will be held at Harrah’s Convention Center from 4-8pm. Over 90 Chamber member businesses will be showcasing their products and services. This year’s theme, “Get Connected”, will recognize advancements in technology by highlighting businesses using social media to their advantage. Show off your techie skills by live tweeting @TahoeChamber during the event using the hashtag #expoconnect for a chance to win prizes. Each tweet will enter you into the contest; the more businesses you tweet about, the better your chance of winning! The event is preceded by a fun and interactive E-Commerce Workshop from 2-4pm aimed at helping you market your products online. Join the Small Business Development Center and Howard SEM Group and participate in an information and example packed two hours focused on sales versus e-sales, typical elements of and types of e-commerce including: SWOT analysis, social media, introduction to keywords, search engine optimization and much more. All workshop attendees will be entered to win a professional photoshoot to help build your online portfolio. Whether you are an artist, artisan, business owner or just curious about marketing your products online, this workshop will not disappoint. Tickets are $20 for TahoeChamber members or $30 for non-members and include FREE entry to the Business Expo immediately following the workshop.
