(South Lake Tahoe, CA)…Mayor Pro Tem Tom Davis and Virginia Buffington Executive Director of Christmas Cheer, attended the TahoeChamber Board Meeting this morning to accept the donations raised at the Annual BAHM for Charity. More than 175 attendees raised more than $2000 and an entire truckload of non-perishable food items. Each year, Riva Grill hosts a Business After Hours Mixer (BAHM!) for Charity, and TahoeChamber donates the proceeds to a deserving organization. This year’s beneficiary was Christmas Cheer, our local foodbank, which regularly feeds 2,500 people in our community. According to Mr. Davis, although donations have decreased, they are proud to be able to feed everyone that comes in the front door. A special thank you to our community for helping those in need.
