Sheriff’s Office to Fill Vacant Deputy Sheriff Recruit Positions

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office announces an Open Competitive/Countywide Promotional recruitment to fill current vacancies in Deputy Sheriff Recruit positions. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies.

Under immediate supervision, the Deputy Sheriff Recruit will receive instruction in assigned curriculum from the High Sierra Regional Law Enforcement Academy and participate in training exercises designed to simulate situations encountered by a Washoe County Sheriff’s Deputy; and perform related work as required.
