Reno, CA…On the afternoon of August 18 members of the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue HASTY Team and WCSAR assisted Storey County Sheriff’s Office with a swift water recovery. The man’s body was found in the Truckee River near Mustang by someone fishing on the banks. Multiple agencies responded to this call shortly before two this afternoon. The man had obviously been in the water some time.

While these are never easy assignments, we hope our efforts will help to bring closure to the man’s loved ones.
