Hwy 4 & Hwy 89 to Fully Reopen Through Tamarack Fire Area July 28th at 7am.

Alpine County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) plan to reopen State Routes 4 and 89 in Alpine County to through-traffic only at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. There will be no access to the United States Forest Service (USFS) lands.
