Truckee, CA…Truckee CHP is reporting an accident on I-80 near Yuba Gap.  On the westbound side a Honda Accord has gone about 60ft off the roadway into some trees.  Luckily it is a non-injury accident.

In South Lake Tahoe thick ice is being reported on the roadway on Genoa Ave and Chinquapin Drive

Back up on I-80 CHP is with a disabled vehicle that was on fire.  The vehicle is on the eastbound side.  The CHP officer is staying with the family including some small children until the towing company arrives.
