South Lake Tahoe, CA…The beloved Stream Profile Chamber at Taylor Creek Visitor Center has been closed for repairs since early June 2018. The USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit is pleased to announce that the chamber will reopen this season. Media representatives are invited to join Great Basin Institute, Tahoe Fund and USDA Forest Service officials and other guests for a grand reopening celebration at the Taylor Creek Visitor Center on Friday, June 7, 2019. The celebration includes brief remarks, a ribbon cutting ceremony and interview opportunities.

Where: Stream Profile Chamber, Taylor Creek Visitor Center, Highway 89 (three miles north of the City of South Lake Tahoe)
