Reno, NV…Mt. Rose is stepping up their battle in the snow wars and taking advantage of their high base elevations in going toe to toe with Boreal to be the first resort open for the season. They take the crown for this year by 2 1/2 hours. Look for local ski teams to get some laps in as they hone their skills for this season and many members of the general public to start working on their ski legs.
