City of South Lake Tahoe Seeks Proposals from Qualified Companies to Retrofit Pedestrian Light Fixtures along Highway 50/Lake Tahoe Boulevard Corridor

South Lake Tahoe, CA…The City of South Lake Tahoe is seeking proposals from qualified companies for the procurement and installation (conversion) of approximately one hundred and twenty-six (126) 2200k or 2700k LED assemblies to replace the current 175W metal halide bulbs in the pedestrian light fixtures along the Highway 50/Lake Tahoe Boulevard corridor. Along with the conversion of approximately eighty-eight (88) 4000k LED assemblies to 2200k or 2700k color temperature.

The conversion of the light fixtures to LED retrofits will provide the same safety and lighting as the current fixtures but will have longer lifespan and provide the City with significant energy and financial savings.
