For the Tahoe Basin…6 to 12 inches possible at Lake Tahoe level with 12 to 18 inches above 7000 feet. For Alpine and Mono counties…6 to 12 inches possible above 7000 feet with up to 18 inches near the crest, and up to 4 inches possible along and east of US-395. * IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the evening commute Tuesday and morning
commute Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Now is the time to prepare an emergency kit for your home and
car. If traveling consider alternate plans, remember to carry
tire chains, extra food, water and clothing. Once the storm
arrives, travel may be difficult or impossible for an extended
period of time.
