Tahoe Chamber Brings Together City Planning Employees & Business Owners For March Workshop

South Lake Tahoe, CA/NV…Learn the essentials for doing business with the City of South Lake Tahoe at the March Level UP Workshop! Tahoe Chamber is pleased to announce the Doing Business with the City Workshop taking place on Wednesday, March 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Tahoe Mountain Lab. This workshop will provide the resources necessary for building or growing a business on the South Shore.

The Tahoe Chamber will be providing the business community with a one-stop shop to gain knowledge on requirements for business development. This workshop will feature a discussion on economic development design guidelines, business permitting process, and commercial building inspections. Workshop facilitators are Kevin Fabino, John Hitchcock, and John James with the City of South Lake Tahoe and Theresa Avance, Adam Jensen, and Jennifer Self with the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. These local planning professionals are experts in their fields and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of each of the facilitators.

“The Chamber often gets questions about how local businesses can streamline their development process,” said Emily Abernathy, Tahoe Chamber Director of Operations. “At the Doing Business with the City Workshop, attendees will learn how to plan, organize and implement an effective development plan.”

All Level UP: Doing Business with the City Workshop attendees are encouraged to bring their own “brown bag” lunch to the Tahoe Mountain Lab conference room located at 3079 Harrison Ave, South Lake Tahoe, CA. The cost for each Level UP Workshop is $10 for members and $20 for aspiring members. For more information on the Level UP Workshops please visit facebook.com/tahoechamber or tahoechamber.org.
