Bear Valley, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close State Route 4(SR-4)/Ebbetts Pass from Highland Lake Road to SR-89/Monitor Pass for pavement work. The highway will close beginning Wednesday, June 10, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Motorists will need to take alternate routes and should expect an hour delay.

The closure is scheduled to begin as listed, but are subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
