South Lake Tahoe, CA…The Grand Opening for The Aspens at South Lake Tahoe affordable housing project scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. has been postponed due to the weather forecast. A new date and time will be determined in the near future.

The Aspens at South Lake Tahoe is located at 3521 Pioneer Trail at Ski Run Boulevard in South Lake Tahoe. The smoke-free community offers one, two and three-bedroom, energy-efficient affordable living units for qualified low income renters. Apartments range in size from 561 square feet for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit to 1,181 square feet for the largest 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit. There are also six Mental Health Services Act units at the site. Apartment homes come equipped with washer/dryer hook-ups, dishwasher, refrigerator, gas stove, garbage disposal, and central heating and air.
