Take The Money and Run…or Bike
Gardnerville, NV…On Friday, August 10th, 2012, Deputies and Investigators of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20 year-old Robert Kenneth Schwoerer of Gardnerville for Robbery and Larceny from a Person.
The arrest came as a result of a criminal incident that occurred the previous day.
On Thursday, August 8th, 2012, Schwoerer was meeting with a female acquaintance when he reportedly stole $50.00 cash that she was holding in her hand.
After committing the theft, Schwoerer quickly fled away on a bicycle. Deputies searched for Schwoerer after the incident, but were unable to locate him.
Deputies and Investigators located Schwoerer this morning, hiding at his parent’s home in the Gardnerville Ranchos. They were able to safely take Schwoerer into custody.
Schwoerer was subsequently booked into the Douglas County Jail in Minden.
