Hooters World Wing-Eating Competition Coming to State Fair

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (July 10) – Come to the California State Fair to see the Hooters World Wing-Eating Championship on July 14! The competition will take place at 6pm on the Promenade Stage.

For 10 minutes, contestants will scarf down Hooters wings in a finger-lickin’ free-for-all. The wings are all-you-can-eat, and the contestant that eats the most in 10 minutes is declared the winner.

Some of the world’s hungriest Major League Eaters will compete for a $1,000 cash prize. The winner will also be offered a trip to Clearwater, Fla., to compete in the Hooters World Wing-Eating Championship Finals on July 26. The winner of the finals will be awarded $15,000!
