BETWEEN TRUCKEE TO FERNLEY. SNOW LEVELS ARE CURRENTLY AROUND 4500
FEET…OR JUST ABOVE VALLEY FLOORS. VERY LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF
SNOW ARE POSSIBLE…MAINLY ABOVE 5000 FEET. IN THE LAKE TAHOE
BASIN…UP TO AN INCH OR TWO CAN BE EXPECTED BELOW 7000 FEET. SNOW
SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING…WITH CLEARING SKIES THIS

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A LAKE WIND
ADVISORY FOR LAKE TAHOE…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST THIS
AFTERNOON.

* WINDS: SOUTHWEST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH.

* WAVE HEIGHTS: 1 TO 3 FEET WITH HIGHEST WAVES ON MID LAKE WATERS
AND ALONG NORTH AND EAST SHORES.

* SMALL BOATS WILL BE PRONE TO CAPSIZING AND SHOULD REMAIN OFF
LAKE WATERS UNTIL CONDITIONS IMPROVE.
