* WINDS: SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH POSSIBLE GUSTS 45
TO 60 MPH. LOCALLY HIGHER GUSTS MAY OCCUR IN WIND PRONE
AREAS SUCH AS WASHOE VALLEY AND THE FOOTHILLS WEST OF RENO
AND CARSON CITY.

* IMPACTS: MOTORISTS PLANNING TRAVEL ON THURSDAY SHOULD PREPARE
FOR STRONG CROSS WINDS…ESPECIALLY IF DRIVING A HIGH
PROFILE VEHICLE. THESE WINDS MAY ALSO PRODUCE DAMAGE TO
TREES…POWER LINES OR PROPERTY.
