Flu Vaccines Available through the Cooperative Effort of the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District & Incline Village Community Hospital

Incline Village Community Hospital and the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District will be offering flu vaccines beginning October 1st, 2011 for residents of Incline Village and Crystal Bay. The charge for the vaccine is $20 per shot. Medicare billing will be available (please bring a copy of your Medicare card). The vaccine is available at Incline Village Community Hospital, 880 Alder Avenue as well as the Fire District’s main fire station located at 875 Tanager Street effective October 1st, 2011. Fire District personnel will also visit homes or businesses by appointment. There is no additional charge for the Fire District personnel to come to your home to administer the shot, just the $20 fee to cover the vaccine. Please note that the vaccines are for ages 3 years old and above, however the fire district will be administering for ages 12 years old and above.

No appointment is necessary for walk in shots at the Incline Village Community Hospital Emergency Department or the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District main fire station.

The Fire District will be giving flu shots (for ages 12 years old and above) at the upcoming Oktoberfest Community Fair at the Village Center, 774 Mays Blvd., Incline Village, on Saturday, October 15th 12p.m. – 5p.m.
