One-Way, Alternating Controlled Traffic is in Effect on U.S. Highway 50 at Echo Summit

One-way, alternating controlled traffic is in effect on U.S. Highway 50 at Echo Summit. Motorists can expect up to a 20 minute delay.

Crews will remain on site at Echo Summit for the next several weeks completing additional road work.

One-way, alternating lane controlled traffic will be in effect on weekdays until noon on Friday, with no restrictions on weekends.

The alternate route through El Dorado and Amador counties, which adds approximately 35 miles to South Lake Tahoe from Sacramento, still remains an option for motorists wishing to explore the Gold Country.
