Incline, NV…Below the road controls summary report from the Nevada Dept of Transportation. This report not only gives a good snapshot of the Nevada Roads but it also is one of the best reports of the conditions in the Lake Tahoe Area as well.

SR28:
Between Junction US 50 and 4.0 miles south of Tahoe City
California. (22.8 miles)

SR70:
Between Beckwourth California and 7.4 miles west of Junction US
395. (11.1 miles)
– snow tires or chains required

SR88:
Between 6.7 miles east of Hams Station California and Silver Lake
California. (12.7 miles)
– snow tires or chains required

Between Silver Lake California and Junction State Route 89 at
Picketts Junction. (19.0 miles)
– chains required except for four wheel drive vehicles

Between Junction State Route 89 at Picketts Junction and 1.1 miles
west of Woodfords California. (4.7 miles)
– snow tires or chains required

SR89:
Between Junction Califorina State Route 88 and 3.0 miles south of
Junction US 50-Meyers. (8.0 miles)
– snow tires or chains required

Between 5.7 miles south and 2.3 miles north of Bliss State Park.

Between 5.0 miles north of Junction California State Route 28 at
Tahoe City California and Junction Interstate 80 at Truckee
